In the framework of the CPISRA World Games 2018 the Federations noticed that some adaptations were not correct or were not clear enough at the “Wheelchair slalom Competition Rules & Regulations harmonized and adapted to children”.
For that reason during the Sant Cugat meeting, Federations of Croatia and Austria, leaded by FECPC were allowed to share with all the stakeholders the details of the competitions and difine some minor changes that will significantly improve the adapted rules.
All changes decided, were added to the original “Wheelchair slalom Competition Rules & Regulations harmonized and adapted to children” in red color. However in this new annex you can also find all the changes in a single document that just introduce the changes made from the original version.

Four months after starting the Erasmus Project, the Federations began with the Awareness sessions where they explained what the W - Slalom was about, how it is practiced, its benefits and how children can practicing this sport. Furthermore, these sessions allow people with disabilities to discover a new form of integration through sports
This awareness has been made in different places of the cities that are part of the project, having a great reception by the attendees, who filled a form of satisfaction, which yielded good results. In sessions, the attendees practiced the W - Slalom and learn more about the sport through a video that explained what it consisted of.
Each of the four federations involved in the implementation of the W-Slalom Project, FECPC, HPO, ÖBSV and PCAND, they made an analysis of their focus group, separating the groups into two categories: FG1 (teachers, coaches, sports technicians, physiotherapist, school / club directors, etc.) and FG2 (children, caregivers, family members). Above, you will see the results of participation obtained by the four institutions.
During the sessions we observed a high participation of the female gender, and a greater attendance of the FG1 group. The invitation is for families and childrens (FG2) to participate more in these calls, since they are the ones we want to reach and transform.
